The Reading Cycle Festival is an annual, community event which celebrates cycling in all its forms.
It is run by volunteers from a variety of interest groups, organisations and local traders whose main focus is cycling. But it also includes groups which more generally promote health, wellbeing and the preservation of the environment.
The aims of the festival include inspiring more people to enjoy bikes for leisure and transport.
The festival has over the years introduced riders and aspiring riders to a wide range of pedal-powered machines catering for a range of people – from those with special needs to the super fit.
